Turning 60 with a Spanish twist and save the Baltic Sea

I had the pleasure of creating two birthday cards last week. It’s always fun to see what hopes the customer has for the card. The first card was for a lady who was turning 60. She was a big fan of Spain and especially the quiet non-turist areas. I decided that I was not going to take the gold/red side of Spain but concentrate more on the relaxed part. Once again, thanks to the Big shot machine in creating this card. I love it!

The card also had to have some sort of holder for a gift card so therefore I decided to create a small cute pocket inside the card for her to open.

The second card was for a gentleman that was actually also turning 60 also. He infact had requested that guests would not bring any present but to donate to the Save the Baltic Sea campaign that is ongoing right now in Finland. Anyway this is what I came up with using TimHolts’s Disstress inks. It looks a bit like water I think.
