Smoky quartz and tiny cards

I’ve once again concentrated on making cards and jewelry. I guess I’ve missed theses two hobbies so much that I can’t let them be anymore.

First the jewelry. One of my favorite stone is smoky quartz. I’m surprised since I’m not really into anything dark. Seriously, I don’t own anything black. But smoky quartz has this lovely hint of brown in it and the elegant transparency of the stone is lovely.

I did two very simple bracelets. The first one is of very small faceted rectangles and the second one is of polished nuggets. Both are created from smoky quartz stone and sterling silver. Don’t be surprised even though the second bracelet’s stones are much darker to the first one’s. There are always little difference between similar stones.

Then to the cards. I bought the die-namics nothed tag die & stamp set by My Favorite Things. This is not the first time I’ve used it and each time I note to myself how useful this set is. It is so versatile. I love this set and I love MFT!

So I created small cards (6x6cm). Aren’t they just cute? 🙂
