Do not underestimate what you have left in your fridge at the end of the week. Very basic ingrediants can make a really tasty dinner. Grocery shopping had not taken place due to laziness and my mind was blank. I was running around the kitchen frantically thinking of what to make for dinner and luckly my husband came to my rescue. Let’s make sandwiches, he said!
The fridge was full of half full cartons of everything and we just threw them all on slices of bread and into the oven they want. Then all we then needed were glasses good red wine and we were happy.
Tomato sauce, tuna, anchovies, parmesan, ricotta and salad were what we found. Now when I think about it we had some pretty good things in the fridge.
