I only now get to posting about Mother’s day. We actually decided not to do anything special except concentrate on eating something delicious. We were blessed with wonderful weather here in the north on Sunday and we had coffee and cake in the garden at our cabin with most of our closest relatives. It really was Mother’s day coffee since all together 6 mothers were present.
I decided to create a quick two layer mud cake. I had whipped cream and vanilla pudding in the middle and on top there was vanilla ice cream and chocolate chips. As the last touch I just put frozen blueberries which we had picked last summer. Yum!
I also, of course, made a card for my mother. Simple but cute.
I also got started on one of my summer projects. A kindergarten was throwing out this great doll house and I decided to save it. I now got the first coat of paint on last weekend. Still have no clue what the end result will be. What ever it will be I’m sure the girls will love it.
